Rewriting the narrative
Leading the mental health conversation
We reject the notion of mental health as a deficit. We educate and advocate so communities broaden the dialogue around mental health diagnoses and substance use.
We encourage a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective that erases damaging stereotypes, with empathy, compassion and a holistic approach at the core of our care.
Baltic Street is a potent catalyst for change within the mental health system. We champion policy changes that prioritize peer-led services and recognize the immense value people with lived mental health experience bring to shaping mental health policies and practices.
